.com – ‘Loophole’ friendly blog up for grabs

Fresh WP install but still has a bit of age to it. Was a Pligg Bookmarking site for a while which made zero revenue so what’s the point? Nice name though.

Those days are gone so this blog is now virginal and nicely set up with my usual plugins and ready to go…

Blog Swap Wanted For Loophole Friendly Blog

Blog Swap Wanted For Loophole Friendly Blog

Here are the details of the latest blog I’m offering ( returning swappers will see I always offer the same set-up – themes, plugins etc. as they do it for me and hopefully will for you too.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be in a fitness niche to benefit from a free swap!

Always ready to add your requested plugins as well naturally)…

When Kevin Met Tanya And Big Bob

When Kevin Met Tanya And Big Bob

So what happened when three web marketers met on Blogwam for the first time? Simply put – they got it!

They all had spare domains sitting on their various hosting company’s servers, either doing nothing ( or vainly trying to make 50 cents a day on Adsense!) or were using them as 301 Redirects or just using them to link to their main sites.

Have you let old domain names expire because you could find no further use for them knowing there were only so many hours in the day?

Why would you want access to MY blog?

Why would you want access to MY blog?

If like me you are sitting on some old domains that you have ignored for a while and that are not bringing in some income then you need to be talking to others in the same position and this blog is where you can do just that.

In days gone by I would have set up those domains with a bunch of automated content and have them all pointing to my main money site for some sweet search engine link juice. But those days are gone because search engines recognize that all those domains live in the same house ( for house read my hosting company and the shared servers that my sites sit on)…

What would I do with YOUR blog?

What would I do with YOUR blog?

OK we’ve decided to do the deed! I’m going to grant you full Admin privileges to the WP blog on my hosting account ( while retaining the master admin rights myself in case we fall out!) and you are going to do the same for me for a blog sitting on your server.

First thing I’d do is make sure plugins were working OK, the ones stated on the blog swap request, and you had included a reasonable theme or two – I don’t know if Search Engines rank down blogs with the default WP theme but it sounds like the sort of think the clever buggers might do doesn’t it?

Quick Start Blog Swap - Let's go!

Quick Start Blog Swap – Let’s go!

Here’s your quick check list for a successful Blog Swap.

  • Create a WP Blog in the root of your domain name i.e. www.yourdomainname.com rather than www.yourdomainname.com/blog
  • Upload a couple of simple 3 column themes to your themes folder so your swap partner has a choice
  • Upload your plugins to the plugins folder – see recommended plugins and themes here
  • Activate relevant plugins – leave others for the new blogger to activate as they see fit

Tweaking Your WP Settings For S.E. Karma

There’s no 2 ways about it – the tweaks you make to your basic Wordpress blog ( Permalinks, Privacy, Discussion rules etc.) can make all the difference to your blog in the eyes of the Search Engines. Using the recommended plugins ditto…

But, oh unenlightened one, if you cannot even be bothered to set up a decent theme or two  and  pre-install some funky plugins for me then you are the China to my exploited Tibet – and we are just not going to see eye to eye – hence, No Swap!

Why Automate...automate...automate?

Why Automate…automate…automate?

So what are the benefits of automating a blog? Are we back to churning out those 10,000 page ’scraper’ sites of a few years ago that offered zero value, and visitors couldn’t wait to click on an Adsense Ad to get away from them ( which was the entire point of course)?

As far as I’m concerned, even though I automate blog content, my blogs offer visitors a good user experience and are relevant to their search and, at the same time, give me good SEO linkage/love…

Let's Be Careful Out There!

Let’s Be Careful Out There!

No matter where you go on the web there are people out there trying to separate you from your money, your web site or blog ( and your sanity!) for their own personal gain or simply through pure maliciousness.

Consequently it won’t be long until you or I come across someone trying to ‘game the system’ even when, by doing so, they are effectively shooting themselves in the foot!

Here’s some simple tips to stay secure using the Blogwam method…
